Facebook Event: We plan to make a Facebook Event for the event near the beginning of March. We will invite our classmates, family and friends to this page and share it among the GV community. We also plan to use the S.A.P Facebook along with this Event page to make informational posting to build excitement about the event.

Community event for Greek Life: We plan to make this event a Community Event to reach out to the Greek Organizations.  This will give Greek organizations a chance to learn about a new organization and a new way to achieve volunteer hours.

Decorative & Informative Posters/Flyers: We will print colored poster and place them in on campus centers as well as in academic buildings. This will create for multiple impressions.

​

Chalking: Chalking will happen 1-2 days prior to the event. We will use sidewalk chalk to make quick drawling and phrases in freshman living areas as well as areas among the Allendale campus.

​

Tabling and Pluggers in Kirkoff: We plan to “Table” in Kirkoff by handing out fruit snacks and black and white pluggers. We feel this will be a good way to get people excited and also to help them get interested for the event. Multiple Students pass through Kirkoff.

Announcements/Whiteboard/Email per Department: A unique way to market out event would be to use different departments announcement and whiteboards. We will send out information and keep it there to make more impressions. We will do this closer to the event in the last week of March.

GVSU events page: Along with making it a community event we will add our event to the GVSU official events calendar on the website. This will make it widely visible to a larger community.

​

Podcast/Radio station: A student within our class has her own podcast on the GVSU radio station and we hope she will do a segment all about the event.

​

Banner in Kirkoff: Grand Valley Promotions will be hired to print a banner to hang in Kirkoff 1 month prior to the event.
